Located on the east bank of the Pecos River, Pecos River Cabins is situated in a gated, park-like setting with mature Cottonwood trees and Blue Spruce, grassy lawns, gardens, and picnic areas. Choose from four year round modern cabins and three seasonal rustic cabins accommodating from two to eight people. All cabins are fully furnished, have fully equipped kitchens and include bed linens and towels. All cabins are smoke free and no pets are allowed. A Certified Wildlife Habitat, bird life abounds at Pecos River Cabins. Frequently spotted species include: Black-Headed and Evening Grosbeaks, Chickadees, Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers, Flickers, Nut Hatches, Pinon Jays, Broad Tailed Hummingbirds, Magpies, White Throated Sparrows, and American and Lesser Goldfinches, and Pine Siskins. The Pecos area provides travelers and visitors the opportunity to roam the trails used by Native Americans, Spanish settlers, Santa Fe Trail Traders, Civil War Soldiers, and Route 66 Cruisers. Area attractions include Pecos Canyon, Pecos National Historic Park, Pecos Wilderness, Santa Fe, and Las Vegas. Birding, hiking, fishing, painting, exploring, and relaxing are all easily accessible.
