Taos Pueblo is one of the most world renowned living indigenous communities. The community is noted for the strides and movements made in the fight for Blue Lake and the perseverance to uphold their culture and tradition. Taos Pueblo also known as the People of the Red Willow have lived and survived in the Taos valley for time in memorial. The traditional structures of the people are estimated to be over a thousand years old today. The Pueblo area is a designated UNESCO site, National Historical site, as well as on the National Historical registry. These homes are still occupied by community members today. The Pueblo vicinity is open to the public to experience our home.
