Two Ponyz Ranch guest casita is a spacious, free-standing Pueblo/Santa Fe style building nestled in a speckled green and clay-red landscape with gorgeous views of the Manzano Mountains and a comfortable distance from other structures. This non-smoking one-bedroom unit can accommodate up to four guests. The Casita is decorated in an eclectic Southwestern style and has such luxurious touches as a jetted tub, a wood-burning kiva fireplace, heated travertine floors, and hand-carved wood vigas and doors that add New Mexican flavor. A full kitchen with glass tile, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances makes the idea of staying a weekend, or even several months, a tempting option. Two outdoor covered portals (patios) offer relaxing places to soak in the fragrance of juniper and piñon, admire the “big sky” views, and listen to the sweet sound of nature and silence. There is also a concrete pad next to the casita so stargazers can bring along telescopes for a Bortle Scale Class 1 view of the evening sky. You can also enjoy the quaint town of Mountainair, only minutes east of Two Ponyz Ranch. Cibola Gallery offers an interesting variety of reasonably priced art from local artists. There is also a market, hardware store and a pharmacy that features a soda fountain. The rodeo grounds host regional circuit events. And all three of the Salinas Mission Ruins; Abo', Quarai, and Gran Quivera, are nearby and display the integrating of Indigenous and Spanish cultures.
